This looks great, and so easy to use. One question. The Flex XML Editor removes the CDATA tags I have in my XML. It places the text back in just text tags. Is there a way of keeping these CDATA tags like the example below?
Example: < text ><![CDATA[This is my text content.]]>< /text >

"The thing is that Flash doesn't directly provide much support for using them. There's no problem with using them, it's just that Flash will just treat them as normal text nodes. Any illegal characters passed into Flash via a CDATA section will be replaced with character references and the CDATA node itself will be replaced with a basic text node as a result. Don't worry, however, since should you need either versions (original or with character references) you will be able to get both." so we cannot detect if node with CDATA or without it, we can only set CDATA around node value

I need an easy way to edit hundreds of short xml files, because i use them for printed media in Indesign, and its easier to have lots of single files, so when i update just one file, i dont have to update all the content of the magazine and loose any local formatting i´d made over a paragraph or character style, anyways, your app seems to be perfect for it but, when i edit an xml file with your demo it adds a lot of whitespace to the file and although i can import to indesign without whitespace i need some of it thats there on purpose, so it would be time consuming removing all that or importing without whitespace, the thing is, are you aware of this? is it a bug, is it easy to correct, i have no experience with flex. tnx in advance.
