To view the working application you can install the demo app. The demo application will close automatically after 60 seconds.
This is a youtube search desktop client is a mashup of alot of different techniques and frameworks to watch high quality videos. I have not any open source .SWC library file so, the application is very much open to any customization or any extent.

The code for the application is object oriented apart for few quick functions. The data for the video is captured using AMF protocol using Zend AMF.
This the main screen on the application, the default playlist is featured videos. We can show video image, title and video description for the video. To play a video you simply click on any item.
The second screen show the search results of the keyword you entered in the search box. To play the video you simply click on any item.
When you click on a video this screen appears. We have two video players, one is the default youtube video player and Second i have included the custom open source flv player. To activate that player you simply uncomment two lines in main.mxml. In the default player you have option to play video in normal mode or high definition mode.
The application also have the ability to minimize the player to the system tray while you video is playing.
The installer installs the application perfectly on the system with Icon on your desktop or dock on MAC.
